What is SAT
The Scholastic Aptitude Test, or SAT, is a crucial measure of students’ mathematical, reading, and writing skills. SAT Scoring Scale
Section scores are the individual scores for the two sections of the SAT:
- Reading/Writing: This section is scored in the range of 200-800 points.
- Math: This section is scored in the range of 200-800 points.
Total Score: The two section scores are added together to get your overall score.
The highest SAT score you can earn on SAT is 1600. The lowest SAT score is 400.
You will find your total score and your section scores on your official SAT score report from the College Board. These are the scores that college admissions committees consider when they review your application.
